At Home Autumn Art & Sensory Camp
Creative Ideas for Autumn Break + printable guide
As we continue into Autumn, I’m forever thinking of ways to spend more time outside with my children. And whilst they do play creatively by themselves, sometimes an outdoor activity can encourage children to spend even longer outdoors.
That’s why I’ve collated some of my favourite Autumnal (and Halloween) themed activities to create an Autumn Art & Sensory Camp. Even as the weather starts to cool down, sensory play and arty activities can be done outside.
You can try this over the Autumn half-term break, for weekend inspiration or as part of your home-schooling week.
My dream would be to host something like this ‘for real life’ but for now, I will make do with my lovely virtual community of parents.
Overview of the Week
The full camp is organised to included two activities per day (one sensory and one process art based). However, you can also pick and choose activities as you see fit.
The week is self-paced and easily adaptable to your needs. Whilst there are two activity suggestions for each day, you might wish to pick one instead or even split up the activities over a series of weekends.
The activities are ideal for children aged 3 onwards.
Paying subscribers will receive a downloadable guide detailing resources needed and an outline of each activity.
